Me, You & The Wonder Space
Hey hi! Jamie here. I’ll try to be brief! And please reach out if you have any questions! In my 20s, I was playing hundreds of shows a year, which as we know is fun, exciting and lucrative. Now, I play approximately 5-10 shows per year and dedicate my time to my studio The Wonder Space. Everything is either self funded, studio funded (clients fees go directly into the studio) or funded by my Patreon. It’s going well and I’m very grateful!
There are four current needs (below) that I wanted to graciously ask if you’d consider contributing toward financially. On my own, these needs will be met by Spring/Summer 2025 (see graph - right). With your help, we could move a lil bit quicker!
As A Thank You
ONE) You’ll be listed on our website as a sponsor of The Wonder Space! You could choose if it’s you, your production company or your family listed as a sponsor. We wouldn’t share the amount, but we do want to publicly thank you! You can choose to be anonymous if you’d like.
TWO) A social media thank you! Organic and more than once posts on Instagram stories, etc from myself and The New Kids Choir. “Because of Jimmy Jo choosing to be a sponsor, The New Kids Choir now has this electric drumkit!”
THREE) I will gladly promote your projects, referring to you as a sponsor of my studio. I take support very seriously and I want to publicly and organically thank you more than once.
For anything $1000 or above I will track and comp a vocal feature (or background vocals) for a song* you are producing. Deadline to send me the track, lyrics, etc is 6 months after your sponsorship.
For anything $2000 or above, I can do the vocal feature/BGVs or I will bring my guitar and sing 2-3 songs at any event in the state of Georgia that you are leading/producing/promoting (private party, worship service, etc). $5000 or above I will do the same for any state in the US. Deadline of event date is 10 months after your sponsorship.
If the song is horrible or the event is weird I will have to tell you but I promise I will sing the things. Just not like verse 2 of a club mix - it has to make sense, lol.
PLAN: Upgrade my MacBook Pro
I am currently producing music on my 2013 Macbook Pro and I’m making work! I literally didn’t realize it was a major issue until I found out I cannot update beyond Apple OS Big Sur, which affects things like - Kontakt which means I can’t update a lot of my sounds.
With your help, I could make the necessary upgrades and improve my production time and quality.

PLAN: Scholarships for Kids
I’d like to be able to offer 3-4 full scholarships for teen artists (choir members) in The New Kids Choir for both the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 choir season. Some of the artists are on scholarships, where I choose to welcome them in at no cost as they are both talented and passionate about the arts and this benefits their family financially.
With your help, the scholarship could be more “formal” and ensure that kid & teen creatives get the studio experience! Additionally, unless they publicly say so, we never make it known what artists do & do have partial or full scholarships.
Cost: $800/per artist, per season
PLAN: Upgrade My Camera
I am currently filming all video content on a borrowed Canon EOS 6D Mark II (a beginner-intermediate consumer friendly camera). It’s doing the job! And thankfully I do not have a need to buy any new lenses. I do however want to upgrade the cinematic quality of the content I record and edit for myself, The New Kids Choir and future clients.
This is what I would consider the most urgent need. With your help, we can make it happen!
Estimated price: $2000 (I am planning to purchase a used Canon 5RC)
PLAN: Electric Drumset
This would be primarily used for kid & teen artists in the studio to use software like MELODICS. We really encourage learning new instruments as much as possible! I plan to purchase a budget-friendly kit! Likely a Donner or Alesis. As a bonus, it’d also help me tighten my chops as a producer.
With your help, our kids & teens in the studio can continue to push the limits creatively!
