Songwriting Session
On August 31, Jamie Grace is hosting a songwriting session at The Wonder Space for choir members who write or want to write! All New Kids Choir members ages 9 and up are welcome to attend. There is no cost for this session.
Please note, this is a 2 hour session for songwriters and young artists who would like to write songs. There will not be any lessons, group activities or formal “snack breaks.”
The session will be from 1-3pm with the expectation to break for lunch after choir rehearsal and return to the studio at 1pm. Parents are welcome to wait in the break area during the 1-3pm session.
It it okay if your artist loves to sing and does not desire to write songs.
Every writer who attends will be credited as a songwriter on whatever song is written. Please email Ty if your artist plans to attend.
Cover Songs
A major part of The New Kids Choir is learning cover songs! We use them to warm up (ask your artists about the key changes in Believe for It!) and also record our own arrangements.
Starting in August 2024, we'll be releasing some of these songs under the Wonder Space's artist name The Cover Space.
For example, you'll see on Spotify "You're Doing It All Again by The Cover Space feat. The New Kids Choir"
This gives The New Kids Choir the chance to have music on streaming platforms in the months gearing up for original releases.
Artists will be credited in the song splits for cover songs. We will send a follow up link with info on how to join DistroKid as an artist to receive song splits.
